Monaco 2008 was the 600th Grand prix for Williams, i was too young in the late 60's (thankfully) to have followed their start,but in the 70's i fully latched on...always loved the underdog...here are some models i used to make.

won Le Mans in 1984 and repeated its triumph in 1985 with Ludwig,Barilla and Winter

Back in 1985 i enjoyed making models out of cardboard from cereal boxes plasticine and...wait for it,cut open tooth paste tubes... hand painted them with enamel paints

did you know if you turn 'new' upside down you get 'man' ?

It is time for the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch! I've been to many different races on many different tracks in many different country's
F1 in Monaco,WRC rally in Wales,Formula 2 in Pau,you name it,but for me the Formula Ford Festival is the best!
Here is David Coulthards FF van Diemen,he was 3rd in 1989.
David and his Dad have a little museum up in Scotland,with ofcourse a few of my models...

Unbelievable,at the time i knew Jan and his team,Foundation racing with Mick Goldney...

They had no budget whatsoever,their garage was a mess,rubbish and take-away wrappers everywhere...and what did they do? totally dominated the formula Ford scene...championship,festival the lot!! and they ordered lots of models off me...love it!

This is their FF van Diemen,complete with tyre marks on the nose and oil leak at the back...

This weekend the Indy Racing League kicks off its season,When i see these cars,i can only think one thing,shame about Cart,how could such a great series be broken up by little men with big egos...

In the 90's i made model cars for teams and drivers,did a bunch for Ganassi,Green,Hall et all.

This one was for my own pleasure,i must have been a masochist,i think i've loosend up a bit since then...
